Need a Contractor? Not a problem! Marshall Stone offers a
Hardscape Referral Program. Our Hardscape Referral Program is designed to match your project with the appropriate hardscape installers who can complete your specific project in the time-frame you prefer. We are aimed at helping you through this project by referring contractors straight to you. Marshall Stone will then follow up to see if you have any questions or if we may be of any additional service. Please keep in mind that every project is approached with a distinctive plan, and site conditions may vary. Due to these variables, Marshall Stone is unable to provide any budget pricing other than those regarding materials. By participating in this referral program, you are taking the step to get specific pricing for your project. |

We provide these referrals, as a service to you, however selecting the right contractor for your project is 100% up to you.
• Is the installer licensed and insured?
• Does the installer hold any certifications or has the installer attended any type of training courses?
• How long has the installer been in business? A long track record is generally a good sign. However, many quality hardscaping and masonry contractors are new to the business. Ask for a list of references and call as many as you would like at random.
• Is the installer easily contacted by phone in the event of a problem? Be sure that any messages are returned no later than 24 hours from the time of the message.
• Does the installer have a portfolio of completed projects with photos? Can I go see these projects in person?
• In what areas does the installer normally work?
• What kind of engineering or permits do I need? The scope of some projects will require engineered drawings or permits from local building authorities. Your installer should be aware of the rules and be willing to help.
• What kind of guarantees does the installer offer on his work? Will I get these guarantees in writing?
• Can the installer provide a detailed written bid and assuming the bid is acceptable, provide a written contract?
